Mink Information

Mink are found throughout Great Britain and Ireland. They are an invasive non-native species, originally brought to fur farms from North America and subsequently escaping or being misguidedly released. Mink are essentially amphibious, and are typically found along rivers, streams and coastal areas.
They are devastating predators causing death and destruction to large numbers of waterside fish, mammals and birds as well as attacking hens, ducks and geese alongside peoples waterside properties.
Axholme Pest Control have considerable expertise and knowledge in carrying out professional mink control treatments. From dealing with damage caused to people’s livestock alongside waterfront homes such as chickens, ducks and geese. To attending garden ponds, fishing lakes and fisheries where fish stocks have been decimated. We also provide site specific trapping of mink in collaboration with organisations such as The Nature Partnership, to reduce local mink populations and collate data on mink activity, population sizes and behaviour.
